Sometimes the timing of a piece of art lands like a gut punch. power543 spent weeks building a CGI short film to celebrate Stargate's return to screens. He finished it in November 2025, poured everything into it, uploaded it as a love letter to us. Then Amazon cancelled the revival on June 2, 2026.
That film is still there. And it's still worth watching. Maybe more now than ever.

His channel is Power543 Fan Films (legacy username SGUDistantHope), active since 2012, around 20,800 subscribers. He works across Star Trek, Stargate, and Star Wars fan productions, and he is prolific in the truest sense. When a show he loves is threatened, he makes something.
