Today was the loudest day this campaign has had, and it is worth writing down before the moment cools.

A banner plane flew over Amazon MGM Studios this afternoon. Two banners, timed to catch employees heading out for lunch, putting #SaveStargate in the sky directly over the building where the decision sits. The whole thing was streamed live, with Darren from GateWorld and David Read from Dial the Gate on the call. Darren said it plainly on stream: today is the day we save Stargate.

And the cast showed up. Not prompted, not staged, just there.

    • Christopher Judge posted "#SaveStargate Indeed!" and yes, he used the Indeed.
    • Rachel Luttrell rallied all day, asking people to chime in, with posts pulling hundreds of thousands of views.
    • Robert Patrick kept hammering it across wave after wave of the tweetstorm.
    • Joseph Mallozzi and Martin Gero were in the mix, and GateWorld fired straight at Amazon: things will not calm down.

The petition crossed 86,235 signatures while all this was happening, and it kept climbing through the afternoon.

Here is what today proved. This is not a handful of people shouting into the void. It is organized, it is loud, and the people who actually made these shows are standing with the fans in public. Amazon cannot pretend the room is empty.

If you have not signed yet, do it now while the noise is at its peak. And if you were here for today, say so below. Where were you watching from, and what was your moment?
