GateWorld found 10 Stargate goofs, and the last one you can't unsee
-
GateWorld put together a list of ten production goofs that slipped through ten years and two shows, and I lost a chunk of my day rewatching scenes to confirm them.
A few that got me:
- In one of the earliest SG-1 episodes, Teal'c's Apophis tattoo is on upside down. Once you know, you cannot un-know it, and you have ten seasons to keep checking.
- There is a Snickers wrapper sitting on an alien control console in Atlantis, and an Oreo wrapper on a Pegasus planet. Apparently the crew got hungry on set and the galaxy imports its snacks from Earth.
- When Daniel drags himself mortally wounded into a sarcophagus, it heals him and stitches his clothes and gear back together too. Best healing device in the galaxy, also doubles as a tailor.
The whole thing is a love letter, not a takedown. As they put it, we nitpick because we love. And the number one goof really is the best one, an actor caught on screen exactly where their character is not supposed to be, only visible in the widescreen release.
Watch it, then drop the goofs you have caught over the years in here. Bonus points if you bring a timecode.
Credit to GateWorld for the rewatch fuel.
